Conflict and control is explored in this series of drawings, which probe the idea of construction and destruction and their synergistic relationship. The idea that order and calm arise from chaos, that discord leads to harmony, hostility to peace, and destruction to construction is examined in these landscapes which probe whether these supposed mutual relationships can actually exist.
